A: It is recommended by the American Optometric Association to have your eyes examined once a year.

Q: At what age should my child get their eyes checked?

A: It is recommended to have your child’s eyes examined at or around the age of six months, then again around the age of 3. Starting at age 5, your child should be having yearly comprehensive eye examinations.

Q: I’ve scheduled my eye appointment, what should I bring with me?

A: It is recommended you bring your current pair of glasses, even if they are broken. If you have your contact lens boxes or information, bring that as well.
